End of week blog and Star Grower - Week 3

I have really enjoyed seeing what you have been up to this week, thank you so much for sending in lots of photos and videos!
First of all I would like to congratulate Daisy on being the Star Grower for Week 3, well done Daisy, you have really been working hard to look after the beans and I love that you've one in a jar so you can see the roots too!

It was lovely to see some wonderful artwork this week - Alfie and Harvey (and his brother) have had a go at potato printing and have made some wonderful patterns and pictures.

I have seen lots of pictures of size ordering of beans, here is Dylan, well done!
I love that Emylia is still getting fit and doing PE with Joe every morning with her older brother.
Jack has been busy doing lots of wonderful things, I loved his jumping in puddles video and this fantastic model!
And just look at Lily's big smile, she is super proud of all the wonderful growing she has been doing.

Well done Red Class for a wonderful week of home learning and staying safe!

Bean growing - week 2

Well done for carrying on with your bean growing and diary writing, I have loved seeing them all.  Here is a snap shot of what your beans are now looking like!

Poor Lexie has felt a bit disheartened as her bean would just not grow.  Sometimes this happens but well done Lexie for still doing your bean diary.
Billy has used a tape measure as his bean is getting super tall.  Great measuring skills Billy.

Harvey's bean is getting very tall and it has a nice spot on the windowsill where it can get lots of light.
Tabitha's bean is now very tall.  Great growing skills Tabitha!

But my star grower of week 2 is ................Bobby!! Bobby has now transplanted his seed into a bigger pot and put it outside.  Bobby has also done a super bean entry.  Well done Bobby for being a Star Grower!

Easter Holidays

I hope you've all had a wonderful Easter holidays and have been enjoying the sunshine and some time with your families.
I've had a very busy two weeks and have really enjoyed spending some time with my family.
You'll be very pleased to know my bean seeds finally started to grow!!

I even decided to have a go at planting some other seeds to make a herb garden.  My son Tommy helped me.

I can't wait to see your bean stalks.  I wonder if you've transferred them to outside in a big pot yet?  You may need a cane or big stick to help support it as it grows so tall.
Easter is all about new life so I thought you'd like to see the ducklings that arrived on my pond, I love going to watch them each day, they are super quick!!
And also my little kitten that was born.  He is coming to join me and my family at the beginning of June, we are all very excited.
I can't wait to see what you've all been up to!!

Star grower!

Mrs Fiske hasn't much luck with her bean as it hasn't grown at all! I definitely need some tips from my fellow growers.

Well done Daisy on the growth of your bean, it's doing fantastically.

And I can see Harvey's has started to shoot too.

Bobby did a super job of planting his and Tabitha's has gone crazy!
Billy looks very pleased with his growing skills and Zachary sent me a video.

Alfie and Beau didn't have much luck but were still smiling, hopefully by next week our beanstalks will have caught up with your friends boys!

Emylia has done fantastically and grown not one but two beanstalks.

But I think the grower of the week for week 1 is going to have to go to Zachary for his GIANT beanstalks - a huge well done!! Make sure you send me your pictures next week to be in with a chance of being 'Star grower'.
